Meet Marci Wolff Ober

Empowering Change Through Compassion and Expertise

With over 30 years of clinical experience as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), I bring a compassionate, holistic approach to virtual therapy, coaching, and personal growth experiences for individuals, couples, and families around the globe.

I earned my stripes working in diverse settings—from sober communities in Los Angeles and remote villages in rural Alaska to suburban New York—before establishing a thriving private practice in Northern New Jersey. Along this journey, I’ve held roles ranging from family therapist to clinical director of a major psychiatric hospital.

Mindfulness in Practice

As a certified yoga and meditation teacher (RYT‑300), I weave mindfulness and embodiment practices into my therapeutic approach, inviting clients to connect mind, body, and spirit.

I’m also an Amazon #1 bestselling author of The KrazyGirl (& Guy) Parent Survival Guide—co‑written with my daughter, Courtney—which offers practical strategies to navigate mental health challenges in children and teens. In 2023, Healthgrades recognized me as the No. 1 Marriage & Family Therapist in the U.S.

About the KrazyGirl Project

The KrazyGirl Project was created from a place of deep compassion and real‑life experience. It was born out of the very real challenges so many people face while navigating mental health in a world that often feels pressured to appear “perfect” at all times.
At its core, the project exists to make mental health conversations honest, accessible, and human.

Our Mission

The KrazyGirl Project is dedicated to normalizing mental health challenges and breaking down stigma—using education, connection, and a healthy dose of humor. We believe that understanding and support should be practical, relatable, and filled with hope.

Mental health struggles are far more common than many realize. That’s why our message is simple and powerful:

“We’re all a little Krazy — it’s what we do with our Krazy that counts.”
Through resources, community, and education, we empower individuals and families to move toward lasting mental wellness.

Together, we are building a movement rooted in understanding, courage, and connection — inviting everyone to become #KrazyEmpowered.

The truth not only sets you free it heals you and all you touch thereafter. Thank you from a staunch supporter and grateful heart.
